Domizil Via Claudia is situated in Upper Bavaria some 12 k south of Landsberg and 12 k north of Schongau on the edge of the historical "Pfaffenwinkel" region, in the rural community of UNTERDIESSEN.

Unterdießen has a population of approximately 1200 and lies west of the river Lech. The Wiesbach stream flows picturesquely through the village. Basic everyday requirements can be purchased in the village which has an EDEKA supermarket, bakery (near house), bank and post agency.  Visitors can eat out at 4 local restaurants, 2 only a short walk from the house.

The Lech meadows and woodland on the edge of the village are beautiful walking country. The proximity to the Upper Bavarian lakes, the foothills of the Alps and the lush Allgäu region all enhance the recreational value of Unterdiessen.

From the A96 coming from Munich or Lindau, leave the autobahn at exit Landsberg Nord and follow the B 17 towards Landsberg resp. Garmisch-Partenkirchen. After about 10 k, turn right in the direction of Waal/Unterdießen. Stay on the main road until you reach an EDEKA store on the left-hand side. Opposite the store, turn right into the road to Waal (Schloßberg). After approx. 30 m, turn left (you will pass the restaurant Zapfenwirt) into Kirchweg. Domizil ViaClaudia is approximately 100 m along the road on the right-hand side.
